Parmalee school  administration and  a few dads started a Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) program in 2015.  This is a national program that is represented in almost 8,000 schools in the United States and a few other countries.  Dads will learn about how their students spend their days at school and give the staff a helping hand along the way.  And, it’s a lot of fun!  Watch D.O.G.S. jobs include helping with student safety and traffic control during drop off and pick times, interacting with students during recess and lunch periods, having lunch with your student, assisting  the staff with managing student activities and providing a male presence demonstrating that dads value the education process.

We provide a uniform (t-shirt), a free lunch coupon, and a reserved parking space.

We are using Volunteer Spot to organize and facilitate the Watch D.O.G.S. schedule at school.  Please click on the link below to learn more and to sign up as a Watch D.O.G.S volunteer.

Thanks, in advance, for volunteering as a Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer!
